Ford Car Keys Cut
We've all seen these types of keys wear down so much that the cuts on the keys get so worn that they stop working or they only work from a certain angle.
This customer travelled to us from Hexthorpe just outside Doncaster (when he finally got his van started) after being let down by 3 local Timpson shops and 4 other independent key cutting shops.
Step forward Mr Keys of Conisbrough.
We decoded his ignition lock in order to generate the key code required for cutting a fresh key. Normally we decode these by eyesight by simply looking at the depth of the cuts but this customers original key was so worn that this was not an option and was the very reason 7 other key cutters could not help (Because unlike us they do not have all the tools to do the job when it's a little more complicated)
We decoded the lock then cut and programmed x2 more keys within 20 minutes.
The Dealer was also no help on this occasion as they wanted to change the entire lock set and charge over £450 to include x2 new keys programmed. Our Price £100 oh and £6.95 for the beautiful key ring
