We stock 90% of keys in store and we cut the blade or emergency blade while you wait, this cannot be said of garages and dealers, these companies have to order the key in already cut to code, where as we duplicate it in store while you wait.

With regards to actually programming the key, we will program your keys and key fobs within 10-30 minutes where as a dealer will demand you leave your vehicle with them for 1-5 days, they must do this to make sure they order the correct key, order a pre-coded transponder chip, make sure the emergency blade works when it arrives back with them, and then they have to program the pre-coded chip to your vehicles ECU

At Mr Keys we actually stock around 70% of available key fobs, remotes, remote flip keys, smart keys and traditional keys. We also order in blank transponder chips and Virgin remotes this puts are coverage up another 15% so that we can cut and program up to 85% of what is on the road in the u.k.

We have invested heavily in the correct technology to pre-code and assign the right information onto these blank remotes and Virgin chips which side steps the waiting game. We've also invested a lot into a separate set of tools that programs the chips to your vehicles ECU to ensure a fast and efficient job every time
